It’s been an exciting weekend! There was the clash of three sports titans: first it was the IPL, then the EPL and if that wasn’t enough, there was Formula 1! Could the weekend get any sportier? The biggest sporting challenge for the next few years may not be Chelsea vs Manchester United or India vs Pakistan, it’s most likely to be one Premier League vs the other! With EPL and IPL clashing, what was your pick for a chilled out Sunday evening – IPL or EPL?

Sports weren’t the only thing to look forward to this weekend for Bangaloreans. There was the much-in-the-news Battle for Bangalore. The urban Bangalore voters turned out in large numbers to give the city a much needed push in the right direction. Who according to you will determine Bangalore’s fate for the next 5 years?

And along with Labour Day, this month paid homage to motherhood. Is it just me, or do you notice an unintended pun there? It’s amazing what a mother can do for her child. Isn’t it time we do more than just send her flowers one day in a year? How did you celebrate and honour your mother on Mother’s Day?
