Best of 2008 – Arts and Humanities

Hello Answerers,

It’s that time of the year again. When we take stock of everything that went by in the year and congratulate ourselves on the good things that we did. And on Yahoo! India Answers too, we’re beginning the Best of 2008 contest. And you get to be a part of it!

So what is Best of 2008?

Best of 2008 is a contest that helps us pick the best and most helpful questions Answerers like you have asked on the site over the past 11 months. The Answers team will nominate 10 Questions from 5 categories over the next week: Arts and Humanities, Environment, Science and Mathematics, Sports and Travel.

You get to pick out the best question from among the 10 nominees. The question most picked will be declared Best of 2008 in that particular category. And the Answerer who has asked the question will win many Yahoo! goodies!

Here’s how you can participate in 3 easy steps:

  1. Go through the 10 questions (given below) from the Arts and Humanities category.
  2. Pick the best question among the 10.
  3. Leave us a comment on the blog with the question that you nominate!  E.g. My pick is, Question 1, What is the definition of life?

And now here are the Best of 2008 nominations from the Arts and Humanities category:

  1. What is the definition of life?
  2. What can we do to control anger?
  3. What was the ancient name of India?
  4. What is inside a pyramid other than the dead body?
