Is it a good idea to turn back in time?

But what if you could turn back in time and go to that moment before you took the road less traveled or slammed the phone down on someone’s ears? Have you imagined what would result? Is it always a good thing?
The latest Bollywood flick Bachna Ae Haseeno had me wondering about the whole idea of regretting past misdemeanors and trying to set them right. While the audience’s heart does go out to young, love-too-many-times Raj (as it’s meant to) I did feel terribly sorry for the ladies he went back to in order to apologize.
Face it, would you like an ex-lover who turned you down long ago despite being on to a good thing, turn up in your life again when life is bootilicious? Apart from the two-minute ego boost of, ‘Ha! Look who’s come crawling back,’ there’s very little that you really want from such a one, when your life has taken on new meanings and newer loves.
What do you think, Answerers? Did you watch Bachna Ae Haseeno? Is it a good idea to revisit the past? Would you like it if you could go back and correct your mistakes? Is there something you would like to have done differently in your life? Leave us a comment.
