P. S. Narayanan a.k.a. Spiritualseeker has a question for you!

India is a fairground for contradictions. That is what makes us unique, gives us our personality and shapes our character as a whole. The world around us is amazed at our tolerance levels, our maturity in dealing with a zillion hurdles and our astounding growth. If only, we could bottle this unique “Indian” factor.
Spiritualseeker a.k.a. P.S. Narayanan, our Level 6 user asks you to take a deeper look into what being an Indian means. He asks, “What makes Indians flourish despite obstacles like corruption, brain-drain, poverty, and population crisis?”
When asked, what made him pick this particular question, he said the inspiration came from his experiences and the people he came across in his life. Many great performers, who flourished amidst all obstacles and hurdles unique to our ‘Indian environment’ were his heroes. In his own words- “Looking at the life of such people, one question kept haunting me – Do I know my people, my ancestors, my roots, my country well enough? Do I know the people, the intricate fabric of their culture, their talents, tolerance levels, their unique qualities?”
“Now when I look back, this question seems to open the ‘key’ to the hidden capabilities within us… knowing ‘our people’ will mean knowing myself too, for it is these people who shaped me into what I am!”
From joining Yahoo! Answers just to participate in the online community, he has come a long way and his sense of social responsibility makes him our featured user who gets to ask the nation this burning question.
In his own words, “… I was in for a pleasant surprise…Yahoo Answers forum brought total strangers very close to each other. This forum seems to have contradicted the popular belief that computer technology reduces the ‘human touch’ wherever it is put to use! As the Yahoo! Answers says, it’s about answers from ‘REAL’ people…”
So what do you think this ‘Indian factor’ is? What helps us survive almost any obstacle and emerge victorious? Go ahead and give it a shot. The best answer picked by P. S. Narayanan will have a chance to win a Nokia N93 mobile phone.
